So Mr.B is thankful to be able to share in (and likewise share with ps22 chorus fans ) rare moments of musical magic like this!  These young ladies are brilliant on their own, as they proved countless times performing with the PS22 Chorus back in the day, but when they joined forces for that smashing rendition of Adele's "Set Fire To The Rain" in the stairway back in  2012, they really demanded our attention!   Now back better than ever, I've dubbed them DK MODE, because together, they are LARGER THAN LIFE!!

PS22 Chorus "This Is Me" The Greatest Showman

The PS22 Chorus of 2019 is already making a lasting impression, and this phenomenal performance of "THIS IS ME" from The Greatest Showman (by Pacek and Paul) is proof positive!   soloist Janiel whom, it should be noted, didn't speak a word of English two years agp!   That said, prepare to be blown away!

The kids pulled out all the stops for their final performance of the school year, the aptly titled "Leave A Light On" by Tom Hardy. Between the powerful harmonies, Leaira & Jasaira's gorgeous duet, and PS22 alum/legend Denise guesting  the kids are definitely leaving on the highest of notes!

PS22 celebrated the 50th anniversary of The Beatles' "Yellow Submarine" with their "big bros" from Ithacappella.... so before you go see the re-release of the film in theaters, you're gonna wanna watch this cover on your devices!!

The PS22 Chorus of 2018 celebrated the closing of a phenomenal year at their final rehearsal with the help of special guests Jean-Philip and Patti of St. Lucia, jamming on their aptly titled new single, "Paradise Is Waiting!"

PS22 Chorus "Whatever It Takes (Believer)" Imagine Dragons

Presenting this year's graduation song, a wild mashup of "Whatever It Takes" and "Believer!" Somehow PS22's Imagine Dragons' covers always seem to turn out extra spesh, but here may be the pièce de résistance! Soloists Joshua and Quentin are just ridiculously perfect, and the chorus is demonstrating some serious sonic maturity on a challenging arrangement! The kids are saving their best for last... which is a good thing 'cuz their not done yet!!

The Beach Boys are back with a great new album featuring The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra! PS22 Chorus decided to have some "FUN FUN FUN" to celebrate the occasion... (Check out the 4 part harmony on that third verse!)

Throwing back to Mr.b's absolute favorite song from when he was the kids' age...  there 80s theme reaches a peak with this cover of NENA's "99 RED BALLOONS!" the soloist Jasaira who's doing the slaying....

One of the happiest days of the school year! Not only did Mr.B's niece Eliana do a fabulous job guesting in the soprano section, she was the one who taught him the song they're singing... "The Giving Tree" by Plain White T's, though perhaps a more appropriate title for this video would be, "The FAMILY Tree!"

Carrie Underwood’s hot new single #Champion (ft. Ludacris) has brought chorus  a lot of joy — first the thrill of the PS22 Chorus cameo in Carrie’s official video, and second??

THIS!!! And the all-caps and exclamation points don’t even begin to do this performance justice… See for yourself!!

Massive props to the chorus on this one for bringing some atomic energy and killer harmony, their wicked cool rappers Joshua & Madison, drummer extraordinaire Quentin, and lil’ powerhouse Leiara who blew them away with that KO solo!! Champions indeed!!

Check out PS22 Chorus of 2011 alum DENISE & MARQUIS reconnect musically for the first time in 7 years, with just the right blend of praise and revel you would expect… and then some!! This was, as you will no doubt see for yourself, an unrehearsed and on the spot rendition of Chris Tomlin’s “How Great Is Our God.” Mr. B was just lucky enough to be in the room, and sensible enough to grab the video camera!

Isaiah Gattas on dance and on fleek, as always! Isaiah was in the PS22 Chorus back in 2008 and has since become such a great role model for our chorus kids with his infectious energy and charisma!

A #PS22RandomActOfChorus for Holocaust Survivor Inge Auerbacher!

PS22 Chorus celebrated #InternationalHolocaustRemembranceDay by honoring survivor, Inge Auerbacher with a #PS22RandomActOfChorus! The kids surprised Inge with a song she co-wrote with composer Madeline Stone called “Who Am I?” Needless to say, another tear-jerker….

PS22 Chorus “Dreams” The Cranberries (Dolores O’Riordan Tribute)
